Ƶ commemorates the Martin Luther King Jr. Day federal holiday to honor the slain civil rights leader on Monday, Jan. 16.  All Ƶ Ƶ campuses are closed, with the 2023 Spring Semester and classes beginning Tuesday, Jan. 17.   The university’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration will take place Thursday, Feb. 2, at 5:30 p.m., when Bernice A. The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) recently announced that Teresa Villa-Ignacio, Ph.D., an associate professor of French and Translation in the Department of Modern and Classical Language Studies at Ƶ, is one of 22 translators selected to receive a Literature Translation Fellowship of $10,000. This fellowship will support the translation of Anne-Marie Albiach's La Mezzanine: The Last Account of Catarina Quia into English.
