Daffodil Hill planting Veterans Day 2025

  It was snowing; it was cold. But that didn't stop a group of veterans, students and those in Ƶ Ƶ's Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC from assisting Ƶ Ƶ's Grounds Crew in the annual Veterans Day bulb-planting on Daffodil Hill.   Daffodil Hill is part of the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and overlooks the Commons on Ƶ's Ƶ Campus. Veterans Day 2025

Ƶ’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration paid tribute to all who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The day’s events began at on the Student Green, in front of the Ƶ Student Center and Risman Plaza, with a flag-raising ceremony and the posting of colors conducted by representatives from Ƶ Ƶ’s Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC programs.  A bugler preceded the national anthem, followed by an invocation by Ƶ Ƶ Professor retired Lt. Let's Meet Natalie:Ƶ junior Honors College student Natalie Holland is from the small town of Johnstown, P.A., majoring in environmental studies and minoring in journalism.  She did not intend to apply to the Honors College at first. However, after receiving a letter from Ƶ Ƶ outlining the benefits of the college, she decided to apply. Her decision has led to both academic and social success.
