Daffodil Hill planting Veterans Day 2025

  It was snowing; it was cold. But that didn't stop a group of veterans, students and those in Ƶ Ƶ's Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC from assisting Ƶ Ƶ's Grounds Crew in the annual Veterans Day bulb-planting on Daffodil Hill.   Daffodil Hill is part of the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and overlooks the Commons on Ƶ's Ƶ Campus. The field of 58,175 daffodils was planted in 1985 as a memorial, with one flower for each service member who died in the Vietnam War. Veterans Day 2025

Ƶ’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration paid tribute to all who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The day’s events began at on the Student Green, in front of the Ƶ Student Center and Risman Plaza, with a flag-raising ceremony and the posting of colors conducted by representatives from Ƶ Ƶ’s Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC programs.  A bugler preceded the national anthem, followed by an invocation by Ƶ Ƶ Professor retired Lt.
