Lincoln Benefits Overview

Employer Paid Life Insurance and AD&D Coverage Overview

Eligibility: All full-time employees.

Contribution: ��Ƶ pays the cost of your coverage.

Employee life coverage amount: Three times your annual earnings rounded to the next higher $1,000.

Employee life insurance coverage maximum: This amount may not exceed $225,000.

AD&D coverage amount: Your AD&D coverage is equal to the life benefit amount.

Benefit reductions: Reduces to 65% at age 65, to 50% at age 70, and 25% at age 75.

Long-term disability insurance overview

Long-term disability insurance pays you a portion of your salary while you’re away from work or recovering from a covered illness or injury.

Eligibility: All eligible full-time 9 month, 10 month, and 12 month employees electing for this coverage.

Contribution: You pay the cost of your coverage.

Coverage amount: A percentage of your monthly earnings to a maximum of $6,000 per month (depending on which plan you elect).

Supplemental life and AD&D overview

In addition to basic life insurance, supplemental life and AD&D coverage can provide an extra layer of financial protection for you and your loved ones, helping with support in the event of an unexpected death or covered accidental injury.

Eligibility: All full-time employees

Contribution: You pay the cost of your coverage.

Employee Coverage amount:

Supplemental life: One, two, three, four, or five times annual earnings rounded to the next higher $1,000. This amount may not exceed $1,000,000.
Supplemental AD&D: Available in increments of $25,000, not to exceed the lesser of five times annual earnings or $1,000,000.
