On February’s coldest days, nature created its own sculptures, in ice, on “The Brain” and other objects in Ƶ Ƶ’s Behind the Brain Plaza located behind Merrill Hall.
The plaza is the brainchild of Professor Emeritus . Installation of the 64,000-lb. brain sculpture and platform, along with the plaza’s benches and fountain, was completed in 2000.
The Behind the Brain Plaza has become a favorite place for students to study, picnic and relax - when the weather is warmer, of course.
