For 19 ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ students, the 2025–2026 academic year was more than a series of classes, assignments, and exams. It was an opportunity to tackle real-world challenges, collaborate across disciplines, and turn ideas into action through the John and Fonda Elliot Design Innovation Student Fellows Program.
A team of six engineering students set out to design, build and fly a large-scale cargo remote-controlled aircraft for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Design/Build/Fly competition.
The ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Museum celebrated the opening of "Ohioans in Space: The Carl E. Walz Spacesuit from the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Museum" with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Ohio ºìÐÓÊÓÆµhouse in Columbus.
Just one more year at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ and 19-year-old twin brothers Ray and Will Maynard of Green, Ohio, expect to be graduating and, hopefully, off to medical school.
ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ celebrated Earth Day with a campus-wide series of events that blended hands-on education, student research and community partnerships. From the Earth Fest on Risman Plaza to the scientific posters at the Environmental Science and Design Research Institute Research Showcase and the Electric Vehicle Showcase, the day’s activities highlighted how sustainability is woven into academic life.
