On April 8, 2024, people across Ohio came together to witness a monumental celestial event – a total solar eclipse. Flashes and members of the community came to Ƶ Ƶ’s campuses to share and celebrate the memorable and breathtaking occurrence and participate in fun and educational activities presented by departments across the university.
Crowds gathered at several locations on the Ƶ Campus, including the Student Green and along the Esplanade near the John S. Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design.
For most people in Ohio, the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse was a once-in-a-lifetime event, as the next total solar eclipse visible in Ohio won’t be until 2099.
