Drawn to healthcare as a child, Athalia James, B.S.N. '22, pursued that passion all the way to a career in nursing. Ƶ Ƶ’s clinical programs helped her home in on an area of specialty and decide where she wanted to work.
“Ƶ Ƶ gave us so much knowledge when it comes to the nursing field, but most importantly they teach the art of nursing,” James told Ƶ Ƶ Today.
Along the way she discovered that the university’s positive reputation put her in a great position as well – in high demand with prospective employers as a career-ready nursing graduate. Today, thanks to her undergraduate experiences at Ƶ Ƶ, she’s helping newborns and mothers as a nurse at Summa Heath System.
