Exhibits and Events at the ������Ƶ Museum

The ������Ƶ Museum, located in Rockwell Hall on the ������Ƶ Campus of ������Ƶ, contains important collections of fashion and decorative arts. Its eight galleries feature changing exhibitions of work by many of the world's great artists and designers. In addition to the Museum's extensive collection of fashion garments, costumes, and accessories, it also houses a collection of American glass, fine furniture, textiles, paintings and other decorative arts.

The College of the Arts presents a variety of college-wide programs each year, most notably the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series and the Art Without Limits conference.

Since the inception of Blossom Music Center in 1968, the Musical Arts Association has partnered with ������Ƶ and its College of the Arts to develop Blossom as a complete environment for the arts. Each summer, ������Ƶ Blossom combines performance with education and joins working professionals with talented students to teach, explore and produce great art. This important relationship between a premier performing ensemble and a public university has also served as a model for other collaborations.

The School of Art regularly hosts exhibits in its galleries located both in the Center for the Visual Arts on the ������Ƶ Campus and the Downtown Gallery located in downtown ������Ƶ, OH at 141 E. Main Street.

Concerts and Performances in the Glauser School of Music

The Glauser School of Music presents a wide range of concerts and recitals throughout the year including performances by instrumental ensembles, athletic bands, concert bands, ������Ƶ ������Ƶ Opera, the ������Ƶ ������Ƶ Orchestra, world music and new music ensembles, and more.

We can combine activity options to create a custom program for your group! We offer different rates for university groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses. As a general idea on pricing, the price for a ������Ƶ group of 25 people participating in a three-hour low ropes course program would be $375.

Programs generally last 2-3 hours.

• Challenge courses and adventure-based programs have become increasingly popular (Hatch & McCarthy, 2005) for groups that want a different and unique way of achieving specific goals.  Some of the goals of these programs include building confidence, becoming more assertive, developing problem-solving skills, increasing motivation, and improving leadership skills (Long, Lindenmeier, & Robertson, 2003).

High Ropes Challenge Course

The indoor high ropes challenge course is a series of belayed activities fixed 30-feet high in the multipurpose gym at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The focus of these activities can be both on the individual and the group. The group is there to support its team members as they attempt elements. This activity requires a moderate to high level of physical exertion.
